Re: Using the proper amount of tension when exercising...

"A routine that is all about stretching, straining, and tensing is not economical. It doesn't get the job done as well as a more moderate, thoughtful approach." - Thank you Tom, that is what I was hoping you would say. The old adage..."No pain, no gain", in the bodybuilding/fitn...

Using the proper amount of tension when exercising...

Hi Tom, I was reviewing your dvd and also did a search on the archives here on applying "tension" and couldn't find any posts addressing my specific question. I know you mention in the dvd to be gentle, at first, when doing the neck exercises but what is exactly the safe approach on doing...

Re: The most effective sunscreen

Found this today: http://shine.yahoo.com/healthy-living/c ... 00044.html
Some people have commented that coconut oil works as a protectant but I think it makes a better moisturizer.

Re: The most effective sunscreen

Tom: My neighbor is a hiker and marathon runner his skin is badly sun damaged and wrinkled. He doesn't like using sunscreens for the reason you posted, the chemicals cause cancer. I know it's a crap shoot, I'm going with the sunscreen, otherwise why do facial exercises, right? I'll try the Vit. D s...

The most effective sunscreen

Hi Tom, It's been a while since I posted. I've been playing more outdoor soccer lately and when it's sunny out I wear a lot of sunscreen. I've read that zinc oxide and titanium dioxide are the most effective against UVA/UVB Rays. Yet, very recently, reports say that these chemicals can now cause mel...

Olive oil or Coconut oil

Hi Guys, I've been experimenting with some "natural" moisturizers to see which ones I get the best result. I have normal skin. I have tried coconut oil and it tends to leave a greasy feeling then I have read that olive oil is one of the best cause it maintains a good ph balance in the ski...

Re: Experiencing pain when doing exercises

Thank you for clarifying that Tom. I know you talked about the particular care of the neck muscles in your dvd.
I wanted to make sure as I've been a weightlifter for a few years and thought the vigorous exercise on the face would be
needed. This is good to know as I'm not a fan of pain anyway. ;)

Experiencing pain when doing exercises

Hi Tom, How have you been? It's been a while since I posted to the forum. In regards to the facial exercises, you may have mentioned in your dvd, I'm not sure, whether it is important to feel some pain when doing the exercises. I thought it would be necessary as to gaining a result, otherwise if we ...
