Tom, I know you said to never do the facial exercises with a dry face. If you have oil or moisturizer on is it necessary to be able to grip the skin or do you just let the fingers slide across the face while applying pressure? I see that you've added an extra exercise to number one. I also occasionally do some of carolyn cleaves steps. |

Tom R, I will share my experience: having a slippery face and letting your fingers slide is way better than having one that you can grip firmly. As you know, I do Carolyn Cleaves program and it involves a lot of sliding, which I find comes very easily when the skin is moisturized. It gives a feeling of getting a facial while doing the exercises. My experience with holding the skin firmly instead of letting fingers slide has not been good, which is why I was so happy to see that Tom recommends doing his exercises with a moist face. |

Tom R: C M gave you the exact answer that I would have given you. It is never a good idea to do facial exercises with dry facial skin. |

Thanks CM, Tom. I realize that all 5 of the exercises do not require the use of our hands but I figure that some of us are using other programs for the sake of variety and carolyn's facial routine is one of them. |
