I am really excited about these exercises, I have tried many, for about 4 yrs now, they are all very time consuming and I am not seeing really great results and they also seem to be quite hard to do. These ones seem pretty easy and I am hoping they work, you sure look great for your age anyway, so i am convinced. My question: I have always been able to move my ears, not sure why, but it's very easy for me. So I was wondering, since I can do that, is it alright to move onto the extra exercises for the eyes, I have always been able to wink with no problem either and I think I am doing things right, maybe I have more control because of all the exercises I have done in the past, not sure. ha ha. oh and maybe I just misread, but on exercise 4, I didn't see how many reps or for how long. |

Kim H: Exercise Four for the front of the neck is easy to do, but you must do it correctly for it to have a beneficial effect. By correctly I mean keeping the muscles at the front of the neck and under the chin tensed (flexed) as you do the exercise. This is accomplished by keeping the tongue firmly placed against the roof of the mouth. I don't want to state an optimum number of repetition for this exercise because I really don't think there is such a number. I do a lot of repetitions but I don't keep count. You never want to become obsessive about the numbers game. Ten reps won't get the job done; a thousand reps is way too much. Just strike a happy medium. "So I was wondering, since I can do that [move the ears], is it alright to move onto the extra exercises for the eyes..." Yes, you can to the advanced exercise for the muscles around the eyes since you obviously have control of the occipitalis muscles at the back of the head. This advanced exercise and the neck exercise can keep your face looking young, especially if you do not put on extra body weight. |
